Total E&P Bulgaria participated in the 7th Regional Conference “Bulgaria before the EU Presidency 2018: New energy and industrial policies”, 14-15 November 2017

The major objective of the conference, organised in Sofia by the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum, was to assist the Bulgarian government in elaborating the priorities in the energy sector that it will bring forward during its presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2018.

Mr Xavier Faugeras, the General Manager of Total E&P Bulgaria, participated in the panel “Energy market design”. After an update on the exploratory drilling operations on the Han Asparuh Block, he presented Total’s global strategy for diversification as a European international energy company in the changing energy world heading towards a low carbon economy.

Total E&P Bulgaria also supported the conference, which was attended by a large number of organisations in the domain of energy and provided opportunities to various stakeholders to discuss current energy topics with impact on both the region and the European Union.
