Congress of the Carpathian-Balkan Geological Association

The 22nd Congress of the Carpathian-Balkan Geological Association (KBGA) was held in Plovdiv between 7th and 11th September 2022.

More than 330 researchers from over 30 countries attended the congress, making CBGA2022 the most important scientific geological forum in Bulgaria for the last 30 years.

Over 295 abstracts were published in the special volume of Geologica Balcanica, 10 peer-reviewed full articles and scientific communications were published in the official CBGA journals – Geologica Balcanica and Geologica Carpathica. They were presented orally or as posters in 18 general and 11 special sessions.
